DEPUTY MINISTER GRAHAM-MARÉ TO ADDRESS LEARNERS FOCUS WEEK PROGRAMME AT NELSON MANDELA UNIVERSITY

The Deputy Minister of Electricity and Energy, Ms Samantha Graham-Maré, will deliver the keynote address at the opening of the Learners Focus Week (LFW) Programme, taking place from 29 June to 4 July 2026 at Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha.

The Department of Electricity and Energy (DEE) is hosting the Focus week in partnership with the Central Energy Fund (CEF), South African National Energy Development Institute (SANEDI), Sasol, National Energy Regulator of South Africa (NERSA), EWSETA, Huawei South Africa and Siemens Energy. The continued support of the partners contributes significantly to developing the next generation of energy professionals, innovators and leaders.

The week-long programme aims to inspire learners to pursue studies and careers within the energy sector while providing valuable insights into the diverse opportunities available across the industry.
