MINISTER OF ELECTRICITY AND ENERGY AND ESKOM TO BRIEF MEDIA ON RECENT INCIDENTS AT KOEBERG NUCLEAR POWER STATION

The Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, together with Eskom, will brief the media on the recent incidents that occurred during scheduled steam generator eddy current inspections at Koeberg Nuclear Power Station’s Unit 2, which is currently undergoing an outage.

The media briefing will provide the public and stakeholders with factual information on the nature, cause and impact of the incidents, as well as the current operational status of the facility and the outage.
