Workshop on Energy Efficiency Indicators and Monitoring in South Africa
The Department through the Energy Efficiency Directorate in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA) hosted a workshop on Energy Efficiency Indicators and Monitoring in South Africa, on 04 – 05 September 2014, at Burgerspark Hotel, Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
This is the first in a series of three workshops to help guide the development of energy efficiency indicators for South Africa. The key aim of the workshop series was to create a mutual understanding amongst energy efficiency policy developer’s stakeholders in South Africa and who can provide support to the policy making process through their data collection and analysis skills.

Workshop on South Africa Energy Efficiency Indicators and Target Setting
The Department through the Energy Efficiency Directorate in collaboration with the International Energy Agency (IEA) hosted a workshop on South Africa Energy Efficiency Indicators and Target Setting , on 28 – 29 January 2015, at Casa Toscana Lodge, Lynwood Manor Pretoria in the Gauteng Province of South Africa.
This is the second in a series of three workshops to help guide the development of energy efficiency indicators and targets for South Africa. The key aim of these series workshops is to create a mutual understanding amongst energy efficiency stakeholders in South Africa, who can provide support to the policy making process through their data collection and analysis skills.
